I’m not even sure what “Fine Art Photography” means. I have had several customers have asked me to make some of my photographs more contemporary; “more like a painting.” So this is my attempt to turn some of my photographs into a different style.
Now that I have experimented with this technique for several months I am ready to say that in some cases I prefer this new look over the original photographs. Those that have seen the prints agree that these prints will display much better. I will keep adding to this gallery over time but here are a few “photographs” where I believe the style is very appropriate and makes the photograph better.
It is a shame that these photographs have to be downsized significantly to get posted to the web (if you keep them high-resolution they load too slow and google won’t rank you). You really have to see them full-resolution to appreciate how good they look. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
